Historical area, walkable narrow streets, old shops and restaurants. Busy during Golden week and Sanja Matsuri Festival. Well-equipped hostel with kitchen and large common area. Helpful staff and regular guest with local cuisine knowledge. Combini's and grocery store nearby. Free breakfast!

good value for money. Casual and international environment. Air conditioned bed room. The hostel locates in a nice area.
wifi didn't work very well (quite often). Not all facilities/services were for free. Shower/toilet was not very clearn. The location was a bit complicated.

Very good location, near metro station. Not far from the city center. Excellent staff and very helpful, especially Yoshi.
Should do more strict policy for those who come late at night... once or twice not a problem but when it continuous every day so it disturbs everybody in the room. My idea is to move all night goers in one room.

Great location near Sensoji Temple and Asakusa Station. The staff were really helpful and provided excellent service. The dorm was spacious and had good wifi. The breakfast of unlimited bread, jams, and coffee was a nice touch.

As women traveling alone, we loved the warm and welcoming atmosphere at Sakura Hostel. the staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel safe and comfortable. the hostel had reliable Wi-Fi and a nice kitchen, making it convenient for us. We also enjoyed interacting with other guests in the common area, especially at night. the location was fantastic, with easy access to popular attractions like Senso-ji Temple, Kaminarimon, and Nakamise-Dori. Sakura Hostel provided a great experience for women travelers.
Felt completely welcomed, nothing to complain about.

If you want a peaceful and much more comfortable place (with your own room and for the same price), go to Kangaroo hotel, just a few blocks further north.
Nothing beyond the normal backpackers.

I recently stayed at Sakura Hostel in Asakusa for 5 nights. The location was excellent, with Sensoji Temple and Nakamise market street just a short walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and convenient. The bunk beds were comfortable and the white sheets and towels were spotless. The breakfast included tasty options like toast, butter, jam, and a delicious daily soup. The hostel also offered activities to learn about Japanese culture, and there was a common area with a TV. Sakura Hostel in Asakusa provided great value for money.
Can't recommend this hostel highly enough.

The private room on the 6th floor had a stunning view of the Sensoji temple, Tokyo Skytree, and the Asakusa Hanayashiki amusement park. The friendly and helpful staff made my experience even better. I highly recommend this hostel for exploring Asakusa.

Great price and convenient location, within walking distance to attractions and transportation. The common area provided a warm atmosphere for socializing with other travelers. Free wi-fi was a bonus.
Shared room meant noise and potential disturbances at night. Limited space for large luggage and shared air conditioning could be problematic.
